Sen. Dick Durbin on Whether the Troops Are Following Illegal Orders from President Trump in Iran

BALLASY: “A lot of Democrats are saying the war in Iran is illegal. Do you think the troops are following illegal orders from Trump in Iran, in terms of the strikes?”

DURBIN: “I don’t want to hold them responsible for the ultimate decision to go to war. But in the conduct of war, of course, they’D be held to standards [inaudible].”

BALLASY: “Are there illegal orders you think they should refuse if this goes on?”

DURBIN: “I don’t know, there might be.”
