CHAFFETZ: “It goes beyond rhetoric, because they have called for actual physical violence. Don't put out these little tweets. Don't go out on X and give us a sentence or two saying, 'Oh, don't do this.' I'm sorry, but this just goes one direction. It is violent. It is aggressive. They tell people to confront people. I mean, look at what Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, others have done. And people take those actions and they take them into their own hands. I think that's what breeding this so-called manifesto that this would-be assassin had exactly. This is an educated person. But he took that action and said, 'I've got to save this country.' And he thinks that assassination is the way to do that. And we've seen this play out multiple times.”
