WILLIAMS: "The reality is the president was using the threat of Justice Department prosecution for potentially a criminal case alleging that Jerome Powell gave false testimony to Congress in order to pressure him to quit because they have a strong disagreement about interest rates. So now you have Powell going away, and I think, you know, I don’t think he’s going to be able to stay around because the Senate is going to approve his replacement. He said once his replacement was approved he would start to move on."
