GOP Rep. Cory Mills Denies Allegations of Sexual Misconduct and Campaign Finance Violations

‘I’m the one that actually pushed for my ethics investigation to be reviewed’

EXCERPT:

MILLS: “And I won’t, because they resigned because they were guilty. That’s the difference. I’m the one that actually pushed for my Ethics investigation to be reviewed, and as the Speaker said, they had made it very clear, the difference between myself and Ms. McCormick is that I comply with Ethics. That’s a very big deal. People who don’t want to comply with Ethics, they should say something. People who want to resign before their Ethics investigation comes to the light should say something. Why would I run? The difference is that if you’re going to basically resign, then it’s almost self-admission that you’ve done something wrong. If you believe in due process, why would I be concerned about what the actual investigation or findings are? And I’m not.”
