REPORTER: "Well, the film industry is getting some new support. L.A. Mayor Karen Bass unveiling a new pilot program to directly support film productions of all sizes here in Los Angeles. Now, the Department of Transportation is offering a 20% discount at more than a hundred L.A. DOT-owned parking lots citywide. Now, parking costs are a significant barrier for productions with equipment and trucks needed for filming. The non-profit Film L.A. also introduced a new low-impact permit pilot program delivering immediate cost reductions for productions that don’t have impacts on communities."
