Hewitt on Redistricting in Va.: Dems Are Drawing It to Take Advantage of the Populated Dem Northern Va. Districts, Republicans Will Get Smashed

‘I’ve always said redistricting is not unconstitutional, and the Supreme Court tried to make it so’

EXCERPT:

HEWITT: “Well, I have always said redistricting is not unconstitutional, and the Supreme Court tried to make it so, and they could never figure out how to make it so. So I'm OK with it, but it does mean you're going to end up with five congressmen living within a long drive of each other because they're drawing this to take advantage of the densely populated Democrat northern Virginia districts, and they're going to split it up so that all those districts get a piece, 10 districts get a piece of northern Virginia, and all the Republicans are going to get smashed.”
