REPORTER: “Two parents in Kenton County await their sentencing for the deadly shooting of their two-year-old child. According to Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders, a jury found Tashawn Adams and Selena Farrell guilty of reckless homicide. The conviction involves an incident that happened two years ago, in which their three-year-old child grabbed Adams’ gun from the drawer and shot his two-year-old brother. We’re told both parents were asleep at the time. The jury recommended a five-year sentence for Adams and seven years for Farrell. She had an active warrant for a probation violation at the time.
