LA Mayor Karen Bass Orders More Patrols After Burglary Wave Hits Hollywood Hills

REPORTER: “So there have now been 12 burglaries in the San Fernando Valley and Hollywood Hills in the past nine days. We’re also keeping on top of this. Most of them have been reported after 8 P.M. during the eight and nine o’clock hours it’s looking like, and in all of these cases the thieves got away. Police are investigating if any are connected but say all of these break-ins — apparently are this is all down. The numbers are down compared to last year. Homeowners not seeing that but the mayor says she is directing more police to increase patrols in those high-risk areas.”
