Victor Davis Hanson: Trump Has Taken a Level of Abuse with Impeachments and Assassination Attempts

‘It’s really remarkable’

EXCERPT:

HANSON: "I have a book coming out on August called 'Counter Revolution: The Fall and Rise of Donald Trump.' It starts on January 6, and it ends on January 6 of this year. So it’s all done, it's been printed, but — I really learned a lot. And what I learned was that after I went through the whole four trials, the de-balloting, the raid on Mar-a-Lago, all — I don’t think anybody alive could have taken that type of — I’ve forgotten what they said about him, what they did about him, how outrageous it was, how crazy it was, and the two impeachments. He’s taken a level of abuse, and that's the two assassination attempts, it’s really remarkable. The left would say he's Rasputin-like, but it's kind of like — everybody cites the cartoon, you know, 'Road Runner,' and he’s — he can’t be Wile E. Coyote can't kill him. Think they, and they think they have him now. I just heard Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell and Ro Khanna, who’s out here and he’s dropped all of his 'I'm the new Clinton type of Democrat,' now he’s just crazier than anybody and he’s obsessed with Donald Trump. They're promising all sorts of things, they're gonna go after his family, they are gonna do this, they're gonna do that."
