Steve Kornacki: Only a Third of Adults Approve of Trump’s Handling of the War in Iran
RUSH EXCERPT:
KORNACKI: "Decision desk poll, this is different from other polls. This is all arc dults and a very large standing of approval of 37%. The last time this poll reported that a couple of months ago it was 39%. A big change from men to now, of course, is the launch of the war in Iran, and everything that’s continued to happen there. Down to 37% approval for Trump and mention Iran and look at this. A big driver of that clearly is how that war is going. Only a third of adults approve of Trump’s handling of the war in Iran. There is a quarter, I should say, one-quarter of Republicans say they disapprove. Those who call themselves Republicans. Inflation the cost of living and this has been the story of his second term. Only a third approving of how he’s handling that. If there’s a bright spot it’s here on border and immigration, but these are higher than other areas and an improvement from Trump earlier this year. The incident in Minnesota and has come up a bit on border for Trump. Talk about Iran and what should happen from here. Take no further action, that’s by far the most common choice you will hear. 61% include a third of Republicans."
