ROMERO: “I think overall when we look at public opinion polling, there are different points of view depending on political persuasion. And I think Americans do have a long memory. And for many of us, we remember the hostage taking, the executions, the pushing off of buildings, the execution of women. I think that it’s one where Americans are freedom loving, and if this can come together I do believe most Americans will say, I will put up with some pain right now in order to see an international freedom throughout the world. That’s the essence of America. So I think there is time and I think the people will see the efforts of what is occurring,”
