Cincinnati Schools Visited By Fake ICE Agents Sparking Community Outrage

CHILES: "Kelly, good morning. Lots of questions still need to be answered, and accountability certainly the key. We heard from state representative Cecil Thomas, who represents the district where a lot of these schools are placed. He says that he’s going to be calling for an investigation at the state house later today. Hearing back from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, that agency issuing a statement saying, 'AAA local law enforcement partner attempted to verify school enrollment and conduct welfare checks on children who arrived unaccompanied across the border. To be crystal-clear, this agent is not an ICE officer and this was not an enforcement action. Cincinnati Public Schools saying that it was a police chief of Gratis, a town near Dayton, and another officer who showed up on Wednesday. They went to Risi Price Academy, Roberts Academy and Western Hills University High School unannounced. The school district said that each school turned the officers away, saying they need to talk with district attorneys. Both students and parents say the officers were out of line."
