HILTON: "Here in California, we just had a report from the University of California-San Diego that nearly 10% of the incoming students for university can’t read properly or do math properly. That’s Gavin Newsom’s California. He says, 'Oh, we’ve always had the highest unemployment.' That’s not true. He says, 'Oh, poverty, we have the highest poverty rate because of housing.' Exactly."

VARNEY: "What?"

HILTON: "Well, what have you been doing about it? You've been the governor for eight years. It’s just so infuriating. Look, here’s a simple point. He is running for president with the worst record, I would argue, of any presidential candidate in the history of our country. You cannot let this person anywhere near the White House."
