Dem Rep. Moulton: ‘It’s Congress ... We Are the Ones Who Are Supposed to Decide Whether the Nation Goes to War’
‘We reflect the views of the American people, who are against this war’
RUSH EXCERPT:
MOULTON: "What happened again, was a total lack of courage for just doing the right thing, for upholding our values, our constitution, the Constitution that says that it’s Congress, it’s us. We are the ones who are supposed to decide whether the nation goes to war. And that’s because we reflect the views of the American people, who are against this war. They’re against it across the board. And yet we gave in to the administration. Speaker Johnson will go down in history as the weakest speaker in America, I believe. But the point is that even some Democrats were not willing to just stand up for the Constitution and say, enough."
