Sen. Blumenthal: Our DHS Funding Demands Remain the Same

BLUMENTHAL: "Is opening DHS is more likely, are Democrats more likely to agree to open DHS? We have very simple demands. They are the demands of the American people that ICE and CBP obey the law, the Fourth Amendment, the Constitution. Badges and identification on, masks off, no more mass sweeps. The kinds of demands made by the American people of their local police forces here in Connecticut and all around the country, same kinds of standards and operating procedures. And if the new leadership of ICE and CBP will not agree to those reforms, we can't agree to funding DHS."
