PAGE: “You know, I think we're seeing the president respond to the criticism from MAGA and others about, just as David was saying, a lack of a clear and coherent message about what the goal is with this and how that goal would be achieved. And you saw that with the president beginning to do some of the things that previous presidents have done before undertaking such major military action. We saw him speak yesterday from the East Room explaining his rationale and then opening up the meeting to reporters and cameras with Chancellor Merz today. I think that is an effort to try to kind of make his case.”
