Aishah Hasnie on Attacks on Iran: They’re Were Not Willing to Stop Enrichment

‘There are reports that the U.S. even offered Iran free nuclear fuel for ever and they refused’

RUSH EXCERPT:
HASNIE: "I think the president was extremely transparent in the last couple of weeks as we have seen these talks go on. I was with people close that nuclear talks late last night probably just three hours before these strikes began in ironic. The mood was not good. It was one of defeat. One of frustration it was becoming very clear to these folks the U.S. was going to strike. It was just a matter of when. According to my sources in the region was a big hang up over enrichments. That was the breaking point here my sources were telling me Iran was willing to stop stock stockp they’re going to allow UN and U.S. inspectors into the country which they have never let happen before. They’re not willing to stop enrichment and now there are reports that U.S. event offered Iran free nuclear fuel for ever and they refused. It was very clear to this administration, perhaps negotiators for quite some time these talks are going nowhere."
