Mark Kelly on Why He’s Attending Trump’s State of the Union: “I Need To Be Sitting There,’ Right in Front of Him

‘He wanted to send me to prison’

EXCERPT:

KELLY: “I'll be at the State of the Union tomorrow. I'll be, you know, sitting, you know, where I normally do, front and center. I mean, why? This, you know, the president, you know, wanted to send me to jail, to prison. And he said he was going to -- or tried to indict me a couple weeks ago. And, you know, I need to be sitting there right in front of him to show I'm going to continue to do my job, regardless of what he thinks. I mean, this guy said I should be hanged, executed, prosecuted, and then tried to indict me. But I'll be there in the chamber.”
