Fox News: One Day Before Rhode Island Shooting, Shooter Warned About Trans-People Going Berserk on Social Media
EXCERPT:
McADAMS: “So, investigators say this is who the shooter is, you're looking at him now, Robert Dorgan, he went by the name of Roberta Esposito, police says he was dressed as a woman and was armed with at least two guns. During this targeted attack he took out his ex-wife Rhonda and one of his sons, Ayden. Dorgan also shot his in-laws who were sitting in the stands at the game, both are in critical condition, fighting for the lives. So, the 56-year-old had a history of family disputes. These are some of his social media pictures. You just had to look at his Facebook page to find these, he had them all over the place. He had problems because of his gender identity. Back in 2020, he reportedly had gender reassignment surgery, so he went through these procedures, took some medications, and now social media profiles are at the center of this case, and I'll show you why. One day before the shooting, he is defending Congress member Sarah McBride, who is trans, writing in part on X: 'Don’t be so hard over somebody different than you and then wonder why trans people go effing berserk.' So police are looking at those profiles, and back out here in the newsroom, Sean, the investigators believe more people could have been hurt and killed, but somebody in the stands took this guy down and now there are questions as to what other red flags might have been missed, Sean."
