Perino: ‘This Is the ‘Seinfeld Shutdown’ … It Is a Shutdown About Nothing’

PERINO: “It’s like the Seinfeld shutdown. Like, what is this about? It is a shutdown about nothing. Six weeks ago, there was another shutdown, it was also about nothing. And what’s happened once again is that the Democrats have lied to their base. Republicans do it, too. But in this case, the Democrats are saying, yeah, yeah, they’re going to abolish ICE. And so, we’re going to shut down the government. What did they do? They shut down TSA and FEMA. And then they hopped on planes and went to Europe. And they’re not going to be in town this week. And so, if you’re — if you’re somebody who works for TSA or if you work at FEMA, do you have to worry once again, like, am I going to get paid? What time should I show up? Do I have to start driving? Remember those stories? How did this end last time?”
