Pelosi: ‘We’re Going to Win Back the Confidence of the American People’

‘We save our democracy at the kitchen table by having an agenda for working families’

RUSH EXCERPT:

PELOSI: "I think he’s lost public sentiment. But I also say about Lincoln’s quote, public sentiment is everything with you. You can accomplish anything without it, practically nothing. But for public sentiment, I ad to prevail, people have to know. And what you’re seeing is the impact of people knowing more about what this president has been up to to destroy our democracy, that’s for sure. But we save our democracy at the kitchen table by having an agenda for working families, for cost of living, to address affordability, cost of living, job creation, education of their children, health care costs and the cost of housing, which I consider a health issue. So again, we’re going to save the democracy at the kitchen table. But again, people have to know what we’ve done to industrialize our country, to do all these things that they want to see done. But they and we did. But they may not be aware of it, but nobody in the election votes about the past.”
