RUSH EXCERPT:
BarrÓN-LÓPEZ: “Well, right. Now. Stephanie, the White House is not really changing or budging in its position at all. The president was saying today that he’s talking to Democrats, but he also isn’t necessarily giving specifics about who he’s talking to, how involved he is in negotiations or not. And one thing that a senior White House official told reporters yesterday was that the the ask for Democrats, the demand from Democrats to have some kind of language around judicial warrants, that there needs to be a warrant signed by a judge before ice agents or any kind of federal agent enters people’s homes, because we have seen where ice agents and other immigration agents have entered homes of of citizens and of others without a warrant, that that is a particularly challenging, as that senior White House administration administration official said. That’s a particularly challenging point of negotiations. And right now, it doesn’t look like the administration or the president is interested in really talking to Democrats. And on the democratic side, the only thing I’ve really heard from Democrats is that they don’t”
