EU Commissioner Marta Kos: Russians ‘Are Bombing Passenger Trains Going Down to the Front’

‘In the past years, European Union has provided 3 billion to stabilize the energy system of Ukraine, but because of the ongoing Russian attacks, this is by far not enough’

EXCERPT:

KOS: "The news we are getting from Ukraine nearly every morning are horrific. What Russia is doing there is a state terror. It’s far beyond the war. So, they are bombing the people while they are at home. People are freezing to death, they are bombing the passenger trains going down to the front. In the past years, European Union has provided 3 billion to stabilize the energy system of Ukraine, but because of the ongoing Russian attacks, this is by far not enough. In the last days, we have provided 500 generators and 500 more are now in the preparation to be delivered. So today we will discuss with member states what we can do more for this energy crisis situation in Ukraine.”
