SYKES: “The problem that Donald Trump has is that he's all in on tariffs. He does not understand how tariffs work. And quite frankly, you know, before going out on the road on these rallies, he has been, I think, in a bubble. He's been -- he's been somewhat tone deaf to these problems. You know, he's created this this hermetically sealed world of millionaires and billionaires at Mar-a-Lago. And these folks are not complaining about their grocery bills. So this is a real opportunity. And I think -- but Democrats also have to have a plan. They have to be credible what they can do to actually bring prices down, because people do remember the Biden years. So it's a very, very clear opportunity. And Donald Trump, I think, has an uphill fight in telling people to ignore the -- the -- the evidence of their own wallets.”
