Dr. Daskalakis: RFK Jr. Has a ‘Single-Minded Desire to Dismantle the Vaccine System,’ Because It Means More Money in His Pocket
RUSH EXCERPT:
DASKALAKIS: "I mean, I had the experience with RFK fighting against public health when I was on the deputy commissioner for disease control in New York City, where we were fighting a measles outbreak, and he was suing us to stop the interventions that led to the end of measles outbreak. So for me, you know, I sort of walked in trying my best to work with what we were given. I think that one of my first flags was when his family called him a predator, and then subsequently when he, you know, made an announcement that he was changing the Covid vaccine schedule for children and for pregnant people with no process. So, you know, red flag over and over and over again, firing the members of the advisory committee on immunization practices, the list goes on. So I think, you know, even walking in there trying to do the thing that a civil servant does, which is try to, you know, blend good science and policy with the mission of the people that are appointed. Even at that point, you know, we were all very scared because, you know, he has a single minded desire to dismantle the vaccine system, mainly because it means more money in his pocket or his colleagues pocket that will be able to do litigation. And frankly, you know, hurt the health of children at their own expense."
