Michael Hardaway: Extending ObamaCare Subsidies Is a Win, ‘It’s Only $35B a Year’
‘But Democrats want to come to the table and they want a deal’
EXCERPT:
HARDAWAY: “I think there's a bipartisan win here for both sides of this conversation, because the subsidies are wildly popular with both Democrats and Republicans. You've got 30,000 people in the speaker's district who have healthcare because of the subsidies. You've got 51,000 in the Senate majority leader's state because of these subsidies. And so to answer your question, extending those subsidies is the win. And it's only $35 billion a year.”
