HASNIE: “This is a historic move for the Oversight Committee. Just imagine for a moment, Bill and Hillary Clinton walking down this very hallway here on the way to their closed door deposition. That is what this committee wants to see in a matter of weeks, really months here. And they are not alone. We're talking about a long list of big, prominent names, cabinet officials from the Obama era, from the Biden and Trump eras, as this investigation into the Epstein files really gets underway here. Take a look at the list along with me. The Oversight Committee wants to hear from, first and foremost, U.S. Attorney General William Barr, Bill Barr, he is being summoned on August 18th. That is a summon. That is not a deadline to respond. That is the date the Oversight Committee says he has to show up. And then there's U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Former FBI Director Robert Mueller, Former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, Former U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, Former FBI Director James Comey, Former Secretary of State Clinton. And of course, former President Bill Clinton. We have reached out to the Clintons for a response to this. Nothing from those camps just yet.”
