Ron Vitiello: N.J. Gov. Phil Murphy Is Failing His State with Sanctuary Policies

VITIELLO: “Well, he’s failing his state. He’s failed this family and numerous other families in New Jersey. It’s a very simple process to turn these people over to ICE. And it’s more important now. As you understand, Bill, the border is — there’s less activity than we’ve seen at the border in my lifetime, in 40 years of me being around this business. It’s very difficult to cross the border. So, if this person is found, if they’re put on a path for removal and deported from the United States, it is very difficult to cross the border right now. They will likely get apprehended. They will most likely get prosecuted and removed again quickly. And so, now it’s more important than ever to get these people out of our communities back to where they come from and that will keep us all safer, including the state of New Jersey.”
