JOHNSON: "There is a tremendous amount of fraud in Medicaid, it’s undisputed. Tens of billions are lost in fraud to Medicaid. 1.2 million are totally ineligible in the program and we have program that are enrolled in multiple programs in multiple states simultaneously and cheating the system. I will say this clearly. Our legislation preserves Medicaid, strengthens Medicaid for the people that actually need it and deserve it and we will get rid of their fraud, waste and abuse."
