Drug Smuggling Cat Nabbed by Prison Officials in Costa Rica

The drugs were confiscated and the animal was given to the National Animal Health Service to be checked out

Prison guards in Costa Rica busted a furry four-legged drug smuggler with marijuana and crack taped to its body.

Video shared by the Costa Rican Ministry of Justice and Peace shows prison guards at the the Penitentiary Police of Pococí prison capturing a cat as it attempted to get into the prison over a perimeter fence at night earlier this month. The cat had more than 230 grams of marijuana and approximately 67 grams of crack cocaine taped to its body.
