Isgur on Trump’s Frivolous Lawsuits: This Is a Retribution Story

Paul Weiss settled for basically no actual concessions except a great press release for President Trump. Then they put out this memo that says, and, by the way, if any other law firm sues us or does anything we don’t like against our political interests, we may put out an eo like that against your law firm."

ISGUR: "This is the most undercovered story. Everyone is following immigration, and I get it, but immigration is complicated and the president has a lot of power. This is a retribution story, the first time we have seen the president actually use his power to go after a perceived political foe with all the powers of the federal government behind him and then use that to threaten everyone else who might consider going behind him. We have not seen a united front from the law firms to say what they’re going to do about this, but the result will be that future potential targets of the administration or issues the administration wants to pursue may have trouble getting —"
