FERGUSON: “Look, it tells me Donald Trump is in this and understands Vladimir Putin. He understands keeping the conversation going. He understands that this war has got to end at some point and he wants to be the guy that brokers it. There’s no one else in the world, by the way, that stepped up to do this. I mean, these are the conversations that should have happened in the Biden Administration right when this war started. And unfortunately, they never happened and they didn’t want them to happen for whatever reason. Maybe it was they were too lazy, maybe it was just too big of a deal and over the president’s head.
