Dougherty on Russian Reaction to Azerbaijani Plane Crash: ‘There‘s Really Obfuscation’

DOUGHERTY: "Well, I‘m looking at the Russian reaction, Wolf, and I‘d have to say that there‘s really obfuscation. Um, you know, reports give some facts, but then they leave out other facts. Uh, speaking of the bird theory, a flock of birds that‘s still being bandied about by art, by the way. And I think this is very reminds me a lot about MH17, that Malaysian plane that was shot down by partizans back in 2014, in Ukraine, using a Russian missile. And the Russians never admitted it to this day. So I‘m not very optimistic that they will do it this time, although we‘ll see. There‘s a lot of evidence here."
