    EXCERPT:

RUGLESS: “Yeah. So I think, you know, just my therapist brain wants to make sure that folks know that conflict isn’t always a terrible thing. Sometimes it can absolutely build stronger relationships. But if you really don’t have the bandwidth and you’re looking for a really chill, relax holiday, then, yeah, there are definitely some topics that you want to avoid. You want to avoid politics, you want to avoid finances, religion, any deep-seated family disputes that haven’t been addressed, and deeply personal questions like, is somebody getting married? Are they having kids? What’s their — what are they currently doing in their career? Those kinds of topics are really sensitive and can often lead to disagreements.”
