‘Excuse Me?’: Fox News’ Faulkner Spars with Former Dem Rep. Over Kamala Harris’ Energy Record
EXCERPT:
FAULKNER: “Well, we don't have five months. We have 99 days from today. On rebuttal, Patrick.”
MURPHY: “We're in double digits. And, you know, David, I love you, brother. But when you say they're trying to get rid of fossil fuels, the facts -- the carpet doesn't match the drapes, brother. I mean, we've had to --”
FAULKNER: “Excuse me?”
MURPHY: “-- extort fossil fuel production -- I'm saying that the audio doesn't match a video here, Harris. What he said that they're against fossil fuels. We have drilled more for oil and natural gas in America than in American history under the Biden-Harris team.”
FAULKNER: “Then why does he keep tapping the reserve? Why is he putting us in danger, Biden and now Biden-Harris? Because we've got to look at her, too, since she's always, quote/unquote, the president, the last person in the room on every major decision that affects us. Why in the world do they keep tapping the reserve when we know that we're in trouble when you do that and we don't put as much in?”
MURPHY: “Because gas prices were at over $5 a gallon, and now they're down to $3.42 a gallon and we got to get it lower for the American people.”
