    EXCERPT:

FARAH GRIFFIN: "I think one of the things about this that is so frustrating, is it’s not a conservative policy document at all. And it just shows — so, the Heritage Foundation was once the premier policy institute for conservative policy. Now it’s become this nationalist populist fever dream. Shame on Kevin Roberts that’s just ridiculous for destroying this institution. But I’ve actually been talking about this for about four years and now it’s getting a ton of media coverage. I just saw a stat that Google searches for Project 2025 have outpaced the NFL and Taylor Swift because people are tuning in."

    BEHAR: "Good."

FARAH GRIFFIN: "The thing I've warned about in this is that there is an executive order Trump already had in place that basically would eliminate civil servants. It would change all civil servants like a Dr. Fauci, subject matter experts, into political appointees, meaning he gets to choose them, they’re loyal to him, and he can fire them at will. So when you’re thinking about things like natural disasters, terrorist attacks, pandemics, you’re not going to have the most qualified people. You’re not going to have nonpartisan people who just want to serve the public, you’ll have the loyalists he put there. That to me is the scariest part. It would fundamentally change the government that I worked in."
