McCain on Gaza: Anybody Who’s on the Ground in that Region Is in Danger

EXCERPT:

MCCAIN: “Well, that’s what keeps me up at night is whether or not I can, or if, they are safe. Can I keep them safe? Are they safe? What’s happened? The morning routine for me is to look at my phone and see what’s happened during the night. It’s something — I can’t guarantee their safety, because, as you know, we don’t work with militaries. We work with sources on the ground that help us get through. So it’s very, very dangerous. As far as U.S. troops, I don’t know what the plans are for that. But anybody who’s on the ground in that region is in danger.”
