BUCK: "Yeah look, Donald Trump has been pretty clear about his position on NATO for a long time, right, that he doesn’t see the value in it, or doesn’t believe that those countries are holding up their end of the bargain. The issue is that the threat to discarding NATO is clearly much more acute now than when he was president before. Obviously, this is not a theoretical exercise of what happens when people don’t back their allies. Ukraine, not a NATO member of course. But, there are people looking to see what we do here and that could have significant downstream consequences for global security."
