Gen. Keane on Whether the U.S. Should Help Israel Rescue American Hostages: We Have the Right to Go Any Place to Get Them Out

Keane: “As long as — I think we one we have a right to go any place to help get American hostages out. I mean that’s just for ourselves, and I cannot believe it, the Americans want to be a part of this operation on the ground going after our own people and they have intelligence that gives them that kind of access to where they’re located I cannot imagine them not welcoming the Americans and likely we would be pushing to participate in that operation I think just as important is declarations at least privately if not publicly to the Iranians who I still believe are orchestrating this — that any harm comes to American hostages, that is going to bring us into this conflict. And I think that message should be — loud and clear at least privately to the Iranian backers of what is taking place here.”
