HARMAN: “Well, I was hoping Israel was rethinking that. The coalition of Prime Minister Netanyahu, which is substantially to the right of him, includes people who are very much for neutering the role of the Israeli Supreme Court and for expanding settlements into Area C and parts of the West Bank, which would make it impossible for there to be a continuous Palestinian state. And rolling that back, yes, would be something to consider. Not today, but sadly soon, if we can get to some form of cessation of the hostilities and return of the hostages, and an assurance that there can be no more damage to the homeland of Israel. I’m not trying to negotiate this, but I’m saying, you can’t — can’t do it all at once.”
