NY Woman’s Care Delayed and Insurance Cancelled Due to Obamacare (Washington Free Beacon)

New York resident Nancy Miller found her insurance plan cancelled on January 1st and her medical treatments subsequently delayed due to Obamacare, YNN-NY reports.

Miller, a self-employed hairdresser, says she began research in September of last year to make sure she was covered on January 1st, but learned that her health insurance plan was no longer available under the Affordable Care Act, leaving her uninsured. Due to her now lack of insurance, and her inability to afford the newly offered plans, Miller’s prescriptions and treatments for her medical condition are now delayed.

“I’m now going to lose my house because I don’t have insurance and I need medical assistance? So now I’m dead in the dirt, I can’t do anything,” Miller said. “I can’t go to the doctor. I can’t have my tests run. I can’t go for an MRI.”
