‘But that means a lot of folks are going to want to mine the bottom of the ocean for these minerals’

EXCERPT:

WEIR: "Anything -- someone would say anything that protects wilderness at this point, it has goals to set aside 30% by the year 2030, is considered a huge boon at this point. And he set aside pretty much all of the Arctic Sea around Alaska for offshore drilling. But what's interesting is we are at a transition point where fossil fuels are definitely the villains and everybody wants to get to electric vehicles. Well, that means a lot of folks will want to mine the bottom of the ocean for these minerals. There are no free lunches when it comes to energy. We have to decide our trade-offs."
