Seth Dillon: They Say Content Moderation, and What They Mean Is Censorship of Views We Don’t Like

‘Elon Musk sees what’s going on with this heavy-handed censorship’

EXCERPT:

DILLON: “But when it comes to like his involvement with Twitter and everything, it really just comes down to the fact that, you know, politics aside, I don’t know really where he lands on the political spectrum, I don’t know a lot about his views, but he calls himself a free speech absolutist and he sees what’s going on with this heavy-handed censorship and the way that it’s couched in these terms like 'misinformation' and 'hate speech.' You know, they use these things, they are like euphemisms. They'll say 'content moderation' when what they mean is 'censorship of views that we don’t like.' And he sees that for what it is and he wants to do something about it, and he’s willing to put his money where his mouth is. So, I think, you know, hats off to him for that."
