GOTTLIEB: “We haven’t seen evidence in other countries that the Delta variant has been more pathogenic, it’s been more dangerous in children or adults for that matter. … But it’s hard to tell. Because we don’t know how many people are being infected. I suspect that there’s far more infection happening in the United States than what we’re picking up. We might only be diagnosing one in ten to one in 20 cases right now.”
