Hillary: ‘I Stood up to Adversaries Like Putin’

"So we have a third fight to harness all of Americas power and smarts and values and to maintain the leadership for peace, security and prosperity. No other country on Earth is better positioned to thrive in the 21st century. No other country is better equipped than countries like Russia and to deal with the rise of new powers like China. No other country is better prepared to meet emerging threats from the cyber attacks and networks like ISIS and diseases that spread across oceans and contents. As your president I will do whatever it takes to keep Americans safe. 

If you look over my left shoulder you can see the new world trade center soaring skyward. As a senator from New York I dedicated myself to getting our city and state the help that we needed to recover. As a member of the armed service committee I had the best equip military ready for today's threats. When the brave men and woman come home from war or finish service, I will see to it that they not only get thanks but the care and benefits that they have earned. I stood up to adversaries like Putin and I was in the information room on the day that we got bin Laden, but I know we have to be smart as well as strong. Meeting today's global challenges require every element of today's power and economy influence and building partnerships to improve lives around the world with people not just their governments."
