Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon defended Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign in an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria.

“I’ve been a big proponent of Mueller,” Bannon said. “I was the guy who said don’t fire [former FBI Director James] Comey.”

He claimed that the investigation would have been over in 90 days had the president not fired Comey.
