Counterterrorism analyst and CNN contributor Phil Mudd has never been shy about speaking his mind, but this was a new level of forthrightness.

On CNN Newsroom Thursday, John Berman noted that President Donald Trump called for his Twitter followers to tune into Hannity, and “minutes later, probably not coincidentally, Sean Hannity said” that special counsel Robert Mueller is a “crime boss.”

When Berman asked Mudd for his thoughts on Hannity’s comments, Mudd went on a veritable tirade.
