ISIS Releases ‘Coming Soon’ Movie Trailer for Battle with U.S. (Mediaite)

ISIS, the Sunni militants who have been marauding across eastern Syria and northern Iraq for several months, released a new video Tuesday in the guise of a movie trailer. The film: further violence against the U.S.

Released by the al-Hayat Media Center, “ISIS’s English-language propaganda arm” per theGuardian, the film features multiple Michael Bay-style explosions and slo-mo and whatnot, along with a clip of President Barack Obama promising no U.S. troops in Iraq (a claim that may or may nothave been contradicted yesterday by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Martin Dempsey).

ISIS called its war-movie “Flames of War,” which sounds like a mid-80s Slayer album, and attached the tagline “Fighting Has Just Begun.”
