Chris Murphy: ‘Clearly a Series of High-Level Contacts’ Between the Trump Campaign and the Russians

MURPHY: "I think we need to learn more about the details of that communication, but it fits a pattern. There is clearly a series of high-level contacts throughout the campaign between the trump campaign and the Russian government or agents of the Russian government. I can’t imagine that was simply a matter of exchange pleasantries. There must have been busines that was conducted right there. I think the most important thing we can do is support Robert Mueller’s investigation and make sure it is free from political interference. I have a feeling if he finds evidence of collusion, he will find it and present it to Congress."
