SCARBOROUGH: “I think this world that Donald Trump is being welcomed to is the world that helped get him actually elected. I believe one of the more defining moments of the campaign were the Paris attacks and Barack Obama’s muted response that caused concerns not just among Republican primary voters but people across the political spectrum. And at least in the Republican primaries, in the early Republican primary states, they liked Donald Trump’s red hot response to it, instead of the president of the United States who may be accurate, but the last thing you want to hear when you're seeing Paris on your TV screen saying 'Well, you know, more people die in bathtub accidents than terrorists attacks in America,' which is what Barack Obama told his staff members after Paris.”
